What Is the minimum number of travelers required for Weekenders?

Weekenders require a minimum of  8 travelers. If canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you willl be offered a full refund.

How many people will be on the tour?

We specialize in small groups and our tours will never have more than 12 guests, including ourselves.

Will I travel with people from other countries?

Our tours are open to everyone and one of the most beautiful aspects of traveling is to meet and connect with people from all over the world.

Is airfare included in the tour prices?

Spirited Navigators Tours prices are Land Only pricing. Since guests travel from different parts of the world to join our tours, airfare is not included in the tour prices. However, guests do have the option to book airfare through Spirited Navigators if they wish.

Are your tours guaranteed to run?

In most cases, Yes!

However, some tours have a minimum person requirement in order for the tour to take place. In such cases, the tour page will indicate that.

If tours are canceled for any reason, you will be notified and a full refund will be issued to you.

What happens if my place is not confirmed on the tour?

If for any reason we are unable to offer you a spot on one of our tours, any payments made on your part will be refunded.

How will I know when my booking request is confirmed?

Upon successful payment transaction, your spot on the tour is secured. We will send you an e-mail within 48 hours of payment to confirm the same.

Can you breakdown the “Difficulty Level” on tours?

Absolutely! Below is a breakdown of what each difficulty level means:

Easy: These tours are designed for everyone and are wheelchair accessible for the most part.

Moderate: These tours are designed for those who are physical able to walk and hike uphill for 20-30 minutes continuously. They may require walking/trekking through various terrains that are not always smooth. These tours are not wheelchair accessible.

Strenuous: These tours are designed for those who are physically active. They may require a certain amount of training in preparation for the trip. These tours are not wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring my wheelchair on the tour?

Yes, in most tours you will be able to bring your wheelchair, as long as you’re travelling with someone who’s willing to provide personal assistance. Please advise us at the time of booking if you plan to bring a wheelchair to ensure we can meet your requirements.

Some tour destinations may not have proper wheelchair accessiblity, in such cases, the tour page will be indicative of that.

What if I arrive late and miss a part of the trip?

We regret that no refunds can be made for absences from a trip, including experiences such as missed meals or sightseeing. Any additional charges incurred in such occurrences will be at the traveler’s expense.

Are tips/gratuities included?

Tips and gratuities are not included in tour prices.

How much luggage can I bring?

Each tour will have a slightly different luggage policy based on the destination and type of trip. This information will be provided for each tour upon signing up.

Are airport transfers included?

Yes. In all our tours, every form of transportation upon arriving at a destination is included, unless otherwise stated.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

In our tour sign up questionnaire, we ask you about any dietary preference or restrictions you may have. We will do our best to ensure your needs can be met on each individual tour. However, please note that some destinations will be more difficult than others with strict dietary needs.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance policy to ensure peace of mind. Unforseen circumstances, though rare, do occur and it is important that you protect yourself in case of trip cancellations, an interruption for any reason, baggage delays or loss of baggage and medical expenses.

Will I need a visa?

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of a tour. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality. You may need visas to enter certain countries on the tour. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to departure. It is strongly advised that your local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them. We are happy to provide you with information and guidance. However, we do not assist in obtaining the visas directly.

Will I need a passport?

Passports are required when travelling outside of your home country. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of the trip.

Will I have free time?

To answer it simply, yes. Our tours allow for everyone to have some downtime through the trip. However, keep in mind, one of the main focuses of our trip is to connect with people and the places we visit.

Can I make payment in installments?

How can I pay for my tour?

Payments are made via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can use your credit/debit card to pay on the PayPal site, without creating an account.
