WHY FINLAND?
Finland should be at the top of everyone’s bucket list! If you want to experience the truest form of winter magic, look no farther than this Nordic sensation. We are repeat visitors to Finland and for good reason: Finnish Lapland is one of the most serenely stunning, wildly untouched places in the world. It is the epitome of “Winter Wonderland” and nothing about it is pretentious. In fact, Finland is the exact opposite of that. It knows the beauty it holds, but is very humble about it; you can feel it in the atmosphere no matter where you are in the country.
Finnish Lapland is one of the most ideal places in the world to view the enchanting Aurora Borealis. With visibility nearly 200 nights of the year, your chances of spotting the magic in the vast open skies above the snow-covered forests or from inside your own glass igloo are impeccable! But we’re about to take that to a whole new level by arranging this tour during the Polar Nights!
For nearly two months of the year, Finnish Lapland (above the Arctic circle) experiences close to 24 hours of darkness. Contrary to what you may be envisioning, it does not mean that the sky is always black. The sky goes through magical shades of blues during noon. But mostly, polar nights are the best chances for observing Aurora Borealis, something we truly want to maximize the chances of viewing!
The plethora of activities will keep you active and busy while in contrast, the experience of the authentic and famous Finnish Saunas will leave you feeling more rested than ever — you’ll surely want to come back for more!
While Lapland holds the quiet winter magic, the vibrant seaside capital, Helsinki, offers quite the opposite. Known for design, architecture, culture, parks, lakes, coastline and unique shopping, the city is packed with experiences that are not found in all cities around the world as one comes to expect from typical big cities.
Finland is as adventurous as it is relaxing – truly the best of both worlds!
We cannot wait to show you the various facades of one of the most consistently top-rated countries of the world! We know you will fall in love with it as instantly as we did!
